Kristen Conklin Flank, PhD, LCPC
Sex & Relationship Therapist
Towson, MD & Telehealth
As a sex therapist, Kristen’s goal is to help people become more comfortable with themselves sexually. By normalizing sex as a natural part of the human experience, Kristen helps people see that—much like taste in food—sexual desires and pleasures can evolve throughout life. She brings warmth, curiosity, and deep clinical knowledge to her work with individuals and couples, helping them navigate the complex emotional and physical aspects of intimacy, connection, and personal growth.
Relationship & Sexual Health Focus:
Kristen has advanced training in Clinical Human Sexuality and provides affirming, evidence-based care for people experiencing changes in sexual desire, arousal, or pleasure. Her clinical focus includes therapy for sexual concerns related to perimenopause and menopause, support for couples exploring new dynamics or recovering from ruptures, and treatment for male sexual dysfunction including erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. She also works with individuals and couples navigating sex after pregnancy and childbirth, offering compassionate guidance through one of life’s most intimate transitions.
Therapist’s Approach:
Kristen is both supportive and directive in her work. She uses principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients make peace with who they are and take actionable steps toward the relationships and sexual well-being they desire. Whether addressing emotional blocks, physical challenges, or relational stress, Kristen meets her clients with empathy, clarity, and a practical path forward.
You might benefit from therapy with Kristen if you are:

- Seeking support with intimacy after childbirth or during menopause
- Navigating erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, or desire discrepancies
- In a couple experiencing relational or sexual tension or seeking growth
