Continuing Education

Garnering Change Psychotherapy is invested in enhancing continuing education in our field. We are an approved ASWB ACE CE Provider, a certified American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) CE Provider, and an approved sponsor of continuing education (Category 1 CEs) for licensed social workers in the state of Maryland. Our team works with providers, organizations, and other educators to administer high quality continuing education programming. Program topics span from introductory content about ethics and HIPAA, to specialized subjects like perinatal issues, sex therapy, and how to work with non-monogamous clients.

Internships

Starting in 2022, Garnering Psychotherapy launched a collaborative project with our partners at Insight Wellness to develop a robust, high-quality training program for graduate-level interns and recently licensed clinicians. Dubbed Garnering Insight Education, this project shares resources, willpower, and expertise to enhance clinical knowledge and skills for newer clinicians in the field.
