Garnering Change Psychotherapy is a community of helping professionals that is passionate about training the next generation of therapists and healers. Whether you are a recent graduate working toward independent licensure or an independently licensed clinician, we welcome you to submit your application – a cover letter and resume – to grow with us in your present and future practice.
Internships
Starting in 2022, Garnering Psychotherapy launched a collaborative project with our partners at Insight Wellness to develop a robust, high-quality training program for graduate-level interns and recently licensed clinicians. Dubbed Garnering Insight Education, this project shares resources, willpower, and expertise to enhance clinical knowledge and skills for newer clinicians in the field. We are currently accepting graduate student intern applications for the Garnering Insight program for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Continuing Education (CE)
Garnering Change Psychotherapy is invested in enhancing continuing education in our field. We are an approved ASWB ACE CE Provider, a certified American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) CE Provider, and an approved sponsor of continuing education (Category 1 CEs) for licensed social workers (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland. Our team works with providers, organizations, and other educators to administer high quality continuing education programming. Program topics span from introductory content about ethics and HIPAA, to specialized subjects like sex therapy and how to work with non-monogamous clients.
