Autumn uses her warmth and genuineness to create a safe and empathy-driven environment where clients can laugh, cry, and explore the most difficult challenges that have brought them to therapy. She favors methods from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy to help people interrupt destructive behavioral cycles, integrate the different parts of themselves, and live a life that reflects their values despite difficult emotions.

Autumn has a passion for working with couples to help them define their relationship based on their authentic selves, overcome hardships like infidelity and mismatched desires, and learn to see each other as complex individuals deserving of validation and empathy. She spent two years of clinical internship learning the art and skills of relationship therapy under the supervision of practice owner Heather Garner and is now supervised by sex therapist Dr. Kristen Flank.

You might enjoy working with Autumn if you are:

  • Experiencing a hardship in your relationship, such as discovering infidelity, introducing ethical non-monogamy, or navigating mismatched orientations.
  • A member of the LGBTQ+ and/or kink community and struggling to integrate parts of your identity that have been exiled or suppressed.
  • Suffering from anxious thoughts that disrupt your daily life and/or your ability to connect with others.
  • Seeking a therapist that received a multicultural-focused education and consistently integrates cultural work into therapy.

Autumn earned her Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Baltimore. In her clinical work, she has successfully helped couples recover from infidelity, increase sexual intimacy, and decrease co-dependency. She has also helped individuals navigate the challenges of anxiety, including postpartum anxiety and social anxiety.

Autumn offers couples and individual counseling both virtually and in-person at the Towson, MD location. Autumn (LGP15633) receives Board Approved Supervision from Heather Garner, LCSW-C and Kristen Flank, PhD (LC8745).
