Brittany Trexler, LCPC
Sex & Relationship Therapist
Towson, MD + Telehealth in MD, VA, FL
Brittany Trexler is an eclectic and affirming sex therapist who brings curiosity, humor, and deep compassion to the therapy room. She is especially passionate about working with clients from marginalized communities, including those who identify as LGBTQ+, kinky, non-monogamous, or polyamorous. Brittany believes that healing and growth happen through connection—with ourselves and with others—and she helps clients explore even the most vulnerable or taboo parts of their lives with openness and ease.
Relationship Therapy
Brittany offers affirming relationship therapy for couples, non-monogamous partnerships, polycules, and intimate networks of all structures. Her clinical style honors the complexity and uniqueness of every relationship. Whether you’re navigating sexual concerns, communication struggles, infidelity, or transitioning into ethical non-monogamy, Brittany helps relationships deepen connection, rebuild trust, and prioritize shared values.
Brittany’s Approach
Brittany’s therapeutic lens draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, Person-Centered therapy, and Systemic approaches. She also integrates ongoing learning from her doctoral studies in human sexuality to support clients with sexual health, identity development, and relational fulfillment. As a trauma-informed therapist, Brittany creates space for clients to explore uncomfortable or stigmatized topics—including sex, kink, race, and trauma—in a way that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering. Her approach is warm, humorous, and deeply affirming.
