Perinatal & Parenting Therapist
Towson, MD & Telehealth

Sara brings warmth, creativity, and authenticity to her work, using metaphor, narrative, and gentle humor to help clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion and resilience. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families through the full spectrum of the parenting journey—from fertility and family planning to pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting at any stage.

Perinatal & Parenting Therapy
Sara is trained and experienced in working with birthing parents, partners, and families through moments of deep transition, grief, joy, and uncertainty. Whether you’re navigating fertility treatments, adjusting to new parenthood, coping with pregnancy or infant loss, or parenting through exhaustion and identity shifts, Sara offers grounded, inclusive support. She also regularly collaborates with other professionals—such as OBs, reproductive specialists, and pelvic floor therapists—to ensure holistic care when needed.

Her areas of focus include:

  • Fertility counseling and emotional support during fertility treatments
  • Pregnancy loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss
  • Postpartum depression, anxiety, and adjustment
  • Identity shifts and relationship changes in new or seasoned parenthood
  • Parenting stress, burnout, and the pursuit of “good enough” parenting
  • Support for LGBTQ+ families and ethically non-monogamous parents

Sara’s Approach
Sara uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients develop practical tools for navigating stress and emotional overwhelm. Her sessions are warm and collaborative, and she often weaves in metaphor, story, and humor to help clients gain perspective and insight. She brings cultural humility to each session and holds space for the full range of parenting experiences—without judgment or pressure.

Sara’s therapeutic style is gentle, validating, and strength-focused—she meets clients where they are while helping them move toward meaningful, sustainable change
